First, go to the web site bulletin board at http://www.s291.com/discus410/index.html 1. Click on “Edit Profile” 2. Click on the “Instant Registration” button. 3. Enter a “User Name”. This will be used when you want to sign on to edit your profile. This could be your nickname or boat name and will show up on your posts to the board. 4. Enter your name. This will also show up when you post messages to the board. 5. Enter your email address. This is very important as it will allow you to receive automatic email notification. 6. Check the topics you wish to access. We suggest you check them all. 7. Click on the “Continue Registration” button Do this ONLY ONCE. It may take a minute or so to get to the next step. 8. You will be given a temporary password, write this down. This information will be emailed to the address you entered in step 5 9. Click on the “Profile Editor” link located in the last paragraph. 10. You will now be at the sign-in page. Enter your user name and password and click the “Log-in” button. You now can “edit” your profile and make choices. As you enter information or make choices, be sure to click the “save” button in each section. We strongly suggest you select “automatic email notification”, as this will enable you to receive a copy of every note posted to the bulletin board (and thus contribute to the sharing of information). Also, please include all your boat and address information. This will help the Class Officers maintain our records and facilitate our mailings.
