You can now purchase monogrammed Class Association sportswear directly from Lands End Business Outfitters!! HereÕs how it works: When you click on the link below, it will take you to a Lands End web page that has been customized specifically for the S2 9.1 Meter Class. On this page, you will see an example of our Class monogram logo. Along the top of the web page there are buttons you can click to access the ÒshoppingÓ area of the site. If you explore this area, youÕll see that there are many items upon which you can have our Class logo applied: shirts, coats, vets, hats, luggage, etc. Simply select the items, colors and sizes you desire and add them to your shopping cart. When you go to check out, the site will ask you to specify a logo to apply to the merchandise Ð click on the Class logo. It will then ask for your billing and shipping information. Simply provide this information Ð and your order will be processed and shipped directly to you! VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: To give you total control over the appearance of your sportswear, the Class logo can be applied using any thread color. This means that you MUST specify TWO thread colors for the logo: one thread color for the letters and a separate thread color for the background of the S2 logo itself. These are shown as blue and white on the example you see when you first visit the site. Some of you may want the S2 background color to match the item you are purchasing - others may want the background color to contrast against the apparel color. The important thing is this: you MUST specify BOTH thread colors in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS window during checkout. EVEN MORE OPTIONS! Some of you may want to add your boat name or crew memberÕs name under our Class logo. There are two ways to accomplish this: First, you can request (in the special instructions during checkout) that Lands End apply your additional lettering USING LANDS ENDÕS STANDARD LETTERING FONTS. There is an additional charge for this option Ð and you will need to specify a thread color for this additional monogramming. The second option applies if you wish for your additional monogramming to be based on custom artwork or a type font that Lands End does not offer. In this case, youÕll need to click on the Òcreate your own kiosk within this siteÓ link at the bottom of the first web page. YouÕll then be asked to register a user name and password. Once you have registered, you can submit your own custom artwork to Lands End. Through a two or three step process, they will send you a sample for your approval. If you are satisfied with the example, there is a one-time charge for them to create your Òthread logoÓ. Once this is all set-up, you should then be able to order sportswear with the Class logo, your logo, or BOTH the Class logo AND your custom logo applied to Lands End merchandise. Again, you will have to specify much of this in the Òspecial instructionsÓ window during check out when your order items. I'm not sure if anyone has ordered sportswear yet as of Aug 2008, but I just ordered a vest and the embroidery looks GREAT!!! Lands End got my product to me in less than a week and I am very happy with it!! Please post here or drop me a note if you have had similar experiences. |
